INGREDIENTS
- 1 Saku block Yellowfin Ahi Tuna
- 2 Tbsp black sesame seeds
- 2 Tbsp white sesame seeds
- Kosher Salt
- Olive oil (or cooking oil of your choice)
- Soy Sauce (optional)
INSTRUCTIONS
- Rinse and blot the tuna.
- Mix the black and white sesame seeds with a sprinkle of kosher salt in a bowl big enough to fit the tuna.
- Coat the entire outside of the tuna by pressing it into the sesame seeds until the ahi is completely covered.
- Preheat a pan on medium heat for five minutes.
- Once the pan has been heated, add just enough olive oil to lightly coat the pan. Sear each side of the tuna for 30 - 45 seconds. Slice into 1/4 to 1/2 inch pieces. Drizzle with soy sauce (optional). Enjoy!
