Bacon Wrapped Scallops
Bacon Wrapped Alaska Scallops
These bacon wrapped ginger-soy
scallops make great hors d' oeuvres... packed with flavor!
• 10 Colossal "Dry" Scallops
• 10 Bacon slices, cut in half
• 2 Tablespoons dark brown sugar
• 2 Teaspoons minced fresh ginger
• 1/3 cup soy sauce
Mix sugar, ginger and soy sauce. Cut Scallops in halves. Toss
in soy mixture and marinate 20 minutes or longer.
Wrap each scallop with a bacon strip and secure in place with a toothpick.
Sear scallops/bacon on a medium hot bar-b-que. Done when bacon is well done.
Or you can broil in your oven, takes about 15 minutes. Note: brush scallops
with left over marinade during cooking.
